Tucson Botanical Garden

Today I went with my son's cubscout group to check out the botanical garden here in Tucson. Its a requirement for them to get their world conservation badge. Any who. We were lucky enough to catch the last weekend of the butterfly exhibit. There were so many butterflies flying around it was awesome! Being the photographer I am had to take all sorts of pictures. Many of which you can find for sale at either my etsy site or my photography website. See links to either above.

A butterfly landed on Blake and then me, it was awesome! We had a great time. Blake was fascinated with all the butterflies flying around us. Later we got to see centipedes and millipedes. There were so many different kinds of plants, many of which I had never heard of. There was a gum mint plant that actually smelled like gum. We were through with it in about 2 hours which was fine by me cause my belly was telling me it was either time to eat...or time to vomit. I chose eat-subway is nummy when you don't like greasy food any more. Speaking of food...its time for a lemon head. =/
You can view all my work at either my etsy site or my website (see cool sites).

The Begining

So here it is; the first blog. The beginning of spending even more time on this thing called a computer and Internet. As if I'm not on here enough, my loving sister insisted on me having a "blog spot" as well. What...myspace isn't enough??? Apparently not. But that's ok. The more I blog, the more practice I get with my "typing skills".
So much going on here, so little time.
First and foremost, I'm a mother of a wonderful 8 year old that everyone feels they need to keep for themselves. He is a cutie and he knows it. He is active in cub scouts and has recently began taekwondo. He's a natural. Which I'll blog about those later.

Secondly, I'm a wife. Not just any wife, an Air Force wife. Which means I need to be able to let my husband fly a million miles overseas away from me and our son for an uncertain amount of time at the drop of a hat. Its not the typical lifestyle but we make do. People like to think we in the military have a certain life style where we "have it made"-get over yourselves...we don't. Our housing community is the first , but not last complaint I'll be blogging about...again at a later time.

Thirdly, I have two more children, of which have fur all over their bodies and have four legs. There is Pepsi our Cat, and Lexi the dog. Lexi was sooooo much cuter when she was a puppy. now...she can be a pain in my arse.

Some where in the midst of it all I try to do this thing called a photographer. I shoot nature, families, WEDDINGS, engagements, parties. All sorts of things. No event is to small for me to photograph.

Lastly and most certainly not least. I am expecting...the latest edition to our family. S/He is due to join our crazy family sometime in October. Little does my sister know, the one who lives here in Tucson, ((by the way Cat...)) she gets to spend the 10-13 hours of labor at 3 in the morning with Blake while Randy is with me in the delivery room!!! HAHAH.

So that's a sum of my life currently. Nothing to extraordinary-just a typical life of pets, family, and a career. What a life....
